Bryan Dilworth Scholarship at Temple University

Larry Magid, co-founder of Electric Factory Concerts, has worked with three universities in Philadelphia – Temple University, Drexel University, and University of the Arts – to establish and endow the Bryan Dilworth Scholarship Program for Philadelphia area students in the music business curriculum. This generous, enduring gift in honor of Bryan’s legacy will provide opportunities for students for many, many years.

Temple University in Philadelphia has established the Bryan Dilworth Scholarship. Funded by a gift from Larry and Mickey Magid, the scholarship will stand as a testament to his professional success and legacy, while attracting and inspiring students.

Bryan Dilworth Memorial Scholarship Fund at Neumann-Goretti High School

Bryan Dilworth’s generosity wasn’t unique to our basketball program. He had a tremendous heart and a passion for helping others. Besides being the largest private donor to the Neumann-Goretti basketball program, Bryan was also involved with Make The World BetterSunday Love Project, and more.

This 2019-2020 season, just days after our 2nd round win in the PIAA state tournament, Bryan passed away at just 51 years old. Only days before he was reaching out to the team to see if he could help the program for our state tournament run.

In memory of Bryan, Bryan’s family have set up a fund in his name. Donations will benefit the student-athletes in the program facing economic hardships.

The Bryan Dilworth Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2020 with Billy Penn Assists to provide scholarships to current high school students who come from economically disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds within the Philadelphia area.
